Puro Detail exists because of a simple, non-negotiable belief: paint work done correctly looks different from paint work done quickly. The eye that can see the difference is not natural — it is trained over decades of work on vehicles where the standard of perfection is written into the marque itself.
Justin Doria has spent 30 years developing that eye. What began as an obsession with paint and surface preparation evolved into a practice — a deliberate, structured approach to automotive restoration that rejects compromise at every step. Not because compromise is never offered, but because once you have seen what a correctly corrected and coated surface looks like, anything less becomes impossible to accept.
Puro Detail operates in Mt. Kisco, NY — by appointment, one vehicle at a time. The decision to work this way was not a business model. It was the only way to do the work correctly. A shop that takes in five cars a week cannot give any of them what one car a week receives. We chose the one car.

Three beliefs that govern every job.
Honesty over salesmanship
We will tell you what your paint can achieve and what it cannot. If a correction is not advisable because the clear coat is too thin, we say so. If your paint does not need three stages of correction, we do one. The consultation is free. Overselling is not something we do.
Process over speed
Every step in our process exists for a reason. Decontamination before polishing. Paint measurement before correction. Inspection under proper lighting before moving to the next panel. The process is not slow — it is thorough. There is a difference.
One car, full attention
When your vehicle is here, it is the only vehicle here. No other job is competing for time or attention. This is not a luxury offering — it is the minimum standard required to do the work correctly. We structured the business around the work, not the volume.
