The coating is only as good
as the surface beneath it.
We apply three of the most technically demanding ceramic coatings produced anywhere in the world. Not because they are the most heavily marketed — because they are the most unforgiving of anything less than perfect preparation. That is exactly the standard we hold.
A coating applied over
imperfect paint locks in
every flaw. Permanently.
This is the most important thing to understand about ceramic coating — and the thing most shops choose not to tell you. Once a ceramic coating bonds to your clear coat, it does not come off without machine polishing. Whatever is underneath it stays underneath it.
Swirl marks. Buffer trails. Water etching. Fine scratches. A coating applied over any of these does not hide them — the glass-hard surface of the coating actually amplifies them by increasing reflectivity. Your car looks worse coated than it did before.
This is why every ceramic coating we apply is preceded by a full paint assessment and, where required, paint correction. We never coat a surface that isn’t ready. Not because of a policy — because it would be wrong.
“We prepare the paint the way it deserves to be prepared — not the way the schedule allows.”
- 1Paint AssessmentEvery panel inspected under multiple light sources. Defects catalogued. Thickness measured. Correction requirements determined before any work begins.
- 2Chemical DecontaminationIron fallout, tar, and bonded contamination removed chemically before any mechanical contact. The surface must be chemically clean before it is mechanically refined.
- 3Paint CorrectionWhere required — and it almost always is — the paint is corrected to the appropriate level before coating begins. We do not skip this step.
- 4Panel Wipe & IPA PrepFinal panel wipe with isopropyl alcohol removes all polishing oils and residue. The surface is now completely clean at a molecular level — ready for bonding.
Three coatings. Each chosen
for a specific reason.
We do not offer a coating menu based on price tiers. We recommend the right coating for each specific car, its use, its paint condition, and its owner’s expectations. The three products we use are among the most technically demanding professional coatings available anywhere in the world. They are also the most rewarding — when applied correctly.
Kronos is Phoenix EOD’s flagship professional coating — an ultra-high solid ceramic formulation that produces extraordinary depth, clarity, and hardness. It is not a product available to the general public or to detailers without professional standing. The application window is demanding. The margin for error is narrow. The result, when done correctly, is unlike anything else we have used.
- Hardness10H ceramic
- GlossExceptional depth and clarity
- HydrophobicsSuperior self-cleaning effect
- UV ResistanceFull spectrum protection
- Chemical ResistanceHigh-grade protection
CarPro CQUARTZ Professional Series is one of the most respected ceramic coatings in the detailing world — and for good reason. Its chemistry produces a coating with exceptional slickness, deep hydrophobic properties, and a gloss that reads as liquid in direct sunlight. It has an established track record on exotic and luxury vehicles across thirty years of professional use.
- Hardness9H+ ceramic
- GlossDeep liquid gloss
- HydrophobicsOutstanding self-cleaning
- SlicknessIndustry-leading surface feel
- DurabilityMulti-year protection
Artdeshine NGC+ represents the next generation of ceramic coating chemistry — a nano-ceramic graphene hybrid that delivers exceptional heat dissipation, reduced water spotting from temperature differential, and a surface hardness and slickness that sets a new standard. It is a coating for clients who want the most current technology applied to paint that has been prepared to receive it.
- TechnologyNano-ceramic graphene hybrid
- Heat DissipationSignificantly reduced spotting
- HardnessExceptional surface density
- SlicknessGraphene-enhanced surface feel
- DurabilityExtended multi-year protection
The environment is not
a detail. It is the work.
Ceramic coatings are applied in a controlled environment for reasons that go beyond preference. Temperature, humidity, airborne contamination, and ambient dust all affect how a coating levels, bonds, and cures. A coating applied in the wrong conditions — even by someone with the right skills — will not perform the way it was designed to perform.
Our shop in Mt. Kisco is a dedicated detailing environment. Not a parking lot. Not a mobile van. A controlled space where every variable that affects coating performance is managed from preparation through final cure.
This is the difference between a coating that lasts two years and one that lasts five. Between a coating that performs as advertised and one that begins failing in six months. The product matters. The environment matters equally.
A ceramic coating is an investment.
We teach you how to protect it.
- IThe Cure PeriodMost coatings require 24–72 hours before water contact and 7–14 days before full cure. We walk you through exactly what to avoid and when. No guessing.
- IIWash TechniqueTwo-bucket hand wash only. No automated car washes — ever. The brushes in automated systems will introduce swirl marks through a ceramic coating the same way they do on unprotected paint.
- IIIApproved Products OnlyCeramic-safe wash soaps and detail sprays only. Wax, sealants, and incompatible products will coat over the ceramic and degrade its hydrophobic performance. We provide a recommended product list.
- IVAnnual MaintenanceAnnual inspection and maintenance coating application restores hydrophobic performance and extends the life of the base coating significantly. We offer this to every coating client.
The moment your car leaves our shop, the coating is working. Water beads and sheets off the surface. Dust and light contamination release easily during washing. The paint has a depth and gloss that wax cannot produce and cannot maintain.
Over months and years, what you will notice most is what you don’t have to do. Fewer washes needed. Faster washes when you do. No waxing. No wondering if the paint is protected. It is.
- Water beading and self-cleaning effect from day one
- Paint depth and gloss that wax cannot replicate
- UV protection built into the coating chemistry
- Chemical resistance against road fallout and contamination
- A surface that is significantly easier to maintain correctly
Ceramic coating begins with
paint correction.
Every ceramic coating we apply is preceded by a full paint assessment. In most cases, paint correction follows. A coated surface is permanent — what goes under the coating stays there. We make sure what goes under it is worth protecting.
Protect what you’ve
worked to own.
We accept a limited number of coating applications each month. Every engagement begins with an assessment of your paint — not a product recommendation. Tell us about your car.
